It was how many times he said "actual" in a interview.

:troll:

GRODT was classic. The Massacre had some gems but wasn't PIFF. After that he didn't have dope content consistently.

GRODT - 9.5
MASSACRE - 9
CURTIS - 7.5
BISD - 7
AA - 6.5

he never really fell of musically (IMO), people just loved that ''lets hate on him to look cool'' trend but somehow know every song and tape he's dropped since he ''allegedly'' fell off after GRODT :rudy: ohhhhKay

*rap changes and he never adapted
*beefed with too many people
*was more into antics than churning good music (which he is capable of doing when he isnt trying to force a hit)

Curtis is still my favorite rapper and will always support, but i dont think he'l go GOLD anytime unless he catches 2 singles that are definite hits

Not just being A option, being the best option. It started early in 04. Every decade or so there's a culture shift. It's unavoidable actually. Rap was always going to somehow end up where it is now, and he couldn't adjust. It'll change again in a few years, and more people will be left out of the loop. If you have a good eye, you can see that its in its early stages now.

Its already happening. They pit 2 popular artists at the same time that represent something totally different and whoever wins on the sales battle, will change the direction of this artform. Back in 88, it was Public Enemy and NWA. In 93, it was the light-hearted artists vs Wu Tang and Onyx. In 98, it was Puff vs DMX. In 2004, it was Kanye. In 07, it was Kanye again vs Fif. Now, it is J. Cole and Nicki Minaj.

Now, since Cole won against Nicki, more artists are gonna put more substance in their projects and drop the gimmicky acts.
Ross set a precedent .. he took fake it till you make it to another universe. They don't want authenticity to once again become a pre-req, otherwise they wouldnt be able to manufacture artists, and literally print money. shyt is sad b.

Merry xmas KTT.

Nah, people just want good music. Not how many bodies you caught in real life.

i think the whole novelty of him getting shot 9 times wore thin...
but honestly the true reason was when he first came out his mixtapes were heat rocks rapping over popular beats with rawness and had credibility through the roof....the bullying added to his mystique

The GRODT dropped which is a classic but it's a gift and a curse cause then he crossed over and mainstream loved him and the hood felt they lost their dude ....he went straight commercial with clothes, sneakers, guest appearances....that grittiness and underground raw feeling no homo was lost

not saying he cant drop flames now but it doesn't feel the same

to me personally he got really corny with the kicks and stuff reminded me of master p or birdman releasing kicks just got the same feeling when i think of brands like fubu and stuff turned into straight wigger wear ....once the cacs started standing for g-unit it was time to move on to the next up and coming acts....
