Yes he is the impact alone makes him a legend,
He could be a legend but his decline is the same as Nelly's neither were super good.
Nelly's first 2 albums were game changers and sold as much if not more than GRODT.bullies are always hated
Nelly was a pop star not rapper
N he doesn't have a classic
Don't forget the two 50 cent video games too...A combination of things.
First of all, he didn't drop anything else close to the caliber of GRODT afterwards. He had some nice joints but nothing on that level. So when you have to live up to that project, people will say you "fell off". Secondly, the times changing and becoming more feminine. When people started dressing like herbs in 07-08 he was still rocking baggy tees, jorts, and fitted caps. Third, you have oversaturation. In the span of 03 to 05 you had Fifty with GRODT, the G-Unit album, The Game album, The massacre, the GRODT movie, etc. He was everywhere too much. Fourth, you had a lot of "Real hip hop heads" back then. A lot more than now. People in the core hip hop community didn't appreciate 50's not-so-great lyricism and mainstream style of rapping. For some reason people love that shyt now but back then they didn't let it fly.
