I fukk with 50, but the fact is he started as the anti hero taking on industry cats and when he blew up and started trying to take down cats with lesser status than him he became the industry dude in peoples eyes

He wasn't just dissing anyone in the industry he was fresh off the streets and was still applying street rules to the industry because it waste only thing he knew he been in the street all his life and thenikka is straight up a super g. So anyone standing next to ha he took down , anyone standing next to Ya enemies in the street is ops and dude went in the industry with the same mind state . You really can't blame him. When he was out of the street for a lil bit he realized he was wrong and admitted his mistakes

i liked 50 cent & g-unit's underground & mixtape stuff.

GRODT was hot, but it wasnt no real classic. and the crew had kind of lost their luster a bit. 50 cent seemed to be slowing down, and i was proven right.

then yayo got out of jail and became a semi-wack rapper. i remember when he was pretty good.

Curtis was so dope. 50 did what Jay and Nas didn't tho and shot back tho (yeah, yeah, they Nas and Jay both threw sublims but 50 tried to go toe to toe with a dude who was known for this fukkery). The Funeral was dope as fukk. He just unlucky Cam is a master of this ish. He did the usual 50 thing and made a fool of cam off wax, same way he did to Ross though.

I was listening to hot 97 all day everyday arround that time before school and after school. 50 had no beef with cam until that phone call. then the next day on the morning show they was like 50 cent had someone dudes come dressed in all black (I guess dressedasundertakers) and deliver a package inside was a tape. Which of course we the cam diss.

If that was today that shyt would be all over world star. Idk I just think that shyt was super G the way he delivered that. Yall can check online for some archives of you think I'm lieing.

Also another good moment was when they released the first gunit album beg for mercy they were on the radio all day for a gunit takeover I think it was the Friday before release and everyone calling in they was telling them to make sure they buy the album but no lie EVERYONE that called in response was "I already have the bootleg" I'm talking everybody. They really had New York on lock at one point no one will ever hold it down like they did

People didn't really like 50 Cent o begin with. They liked the image that was marketed to them. GRODT didn't sell 6 million off of "In Da Club" it sold off the marketing that the DVD packaged with it contained footage of 50 Cent being shot at.

50 Cent is also a dikkhead,

Game? Everyone knew he was an extension of 50 though. And he stole 50s neighbors basketball rim. Watch the Stop Snitchin Stop lyin dvd then watch 50 on mtv cribs. Game didn't go to 50s crib (even tho 50 was overseas at the time). 50 cent ended Ja Rules career and stole his fans and went diamond. Games sales declined when 50 fired him, If he damaged 50 he'd have made fans. Game leaving G-unit only cost him sales wise. He went from Platinum to Rick Ross numbers.

85% of people being mentioned in this thread can't even sell 200k albums right now... Yet 50 just got 78M for some underwear, a hit TV show on starz, and making more money than ANYONE mentioned in this thread.. 50 punked damn near all these sorry ass rappers.

He became unlikable.

He started catty beefs with artists making better music than him - Kanye West & Rick Ross - for no apparent reason.

I guess the reason was "beef sells records," but nobody told 50 that move in the playbook was ten years out of date.

Also, he started losing his voice and his flow and the cool Dr. Dre beats. He got inspired by Eminem's "rap with weird accents" phase. His singles went from classic (In Da Club) to stupid (Magic Stick, Amusement Park) to forgettable. (Can you name one, after I Get Money / Ayo Technology?)

Aaaaand he was a dikk and a bully to G-Unit. Treating your friends like crap...who can relate to that?

He made a comeback this year but it might be too late.
