this is a long ass thread to say:

Nobody stays hot.

Nobody stays "hot" is more consistent in hip-hop then any other genre. The act of "relevancy" plagues Rap because that mentality takes away from the music that's presented. Stupid ass half-brain shyt really.

Because this nikka's whole career became a publicity stunt.... :dahell: nikka was a liar too.. remember that line ill retire if kanye sells more than me in the first week. they released at the same time kanye album goes platnum in like the first day 50 goes aluminum he goes.... I was just joking tho... :troll: the nikka isnt nice with the lyrics. damn near sounds like a retard when he rhymes... i never understood why the hood loved this fool anyways?!!? :why:

He's a fukking bum on the mic.... :mjlol:

I give it to him, he makes good business decisions but as an mc or rapper... nah dude. just sit down.... go produce more tv shows... we dont want to hear about you slinging dope and killing imaginary nikkas. publicity stuntin a$$hole.. :mjlol::camby:

Man fukk all that noise b. :camby: We are nikkas in here. Not some cac focus group. Honestly real nikkas could give a fukk about positioning yourself. Give me some fire beats and some good flow nikka or get the fukk on. :shaq2:

If his goal is to not be a rapper cool. I got no beef with no nikkas hustle. He wants to be the hood Tyler Perry and start wearing skirts and getting his back blown out on screen. Do you nikka. Go ahead and eat. But dont expect real nikkas to co-sign weak ass music. And dont expect nikkas to not clown your soundscan numbers and hate on you. When you did the same EXACT thing to other nikkas. :stopitslime:

And your other point about the amount of 50 threads in here. I dont know about anyone else. But that shyt to me is so obvious. Its 50 groupies or paid agents of his. The dikkriders in here make a thread everytime he opens his mouth and starts mumbling with his dental veneers. Those threads are nothing but a few responses from his loyal dikk riders. nikkas wearing G-Unit brassieres and shyt..:scust:

Nobody gives a fukk. :yeshrug:

you don't understand life on the same level as me kid.

the reason you're not feeling 50's music is cuz he's getting black balled at all times.

you basically have to be manipualted through marketing dollars to feel someone's music.

Animal Ambition was 9/10.

Pilot was the song of the summer.

Irregular Heartbeat was a masterpiece.

"If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, , I'll no longer write music. I'll write music and work with my other artists, but I won't put out any more solo albums," Fif told SOHH.com. Well, that week came, the records dropped and Kanye's Graduation outsold 50'sCurtis by 266,000 copies.Sep 12, 2012

:skip: What?? He is getting blackballed? My nikka. . Is Fif not a bully? Does he not have multiple ventures in Hollywood, energy drinks, clothing, websites, headphones, and music?? :dwillhuh:

Explain how he is getting blackballed again my dude? :patrice:
His flow is ancient and dusty as fukk. :flabbynsick:
Out of the whole G-Unit crew his shyt is the wackest.

You said I have to be manipulated through marketing dollars to feel someones music? :beli: Then Fif and all of his antics for Animal Ambition should have me stanning his dusty balls. You had this Fif bringing back G-Unit, doing hella interviews saying crab shyt about everybody, setting a nikka up to get robbed while he was on stage, and throwing a ball like a straight up fakkit at a Mets game.:upsetfavre:

This nikka was everywhere. And his album went triple cubic zirconia. Cause the shyt was wack as fukk. Old ass beats from 10 years ago.

i might be wrong but i think the dislike slowly started to bubble cause he was going at a lot of respected/well liked dudes (Nas, Jada, Fat Joe, Camron although that might have been later on) for what seemed to be petty reasons but one thing that turned a lot of people off was the whole "sales battle" against Kanye. i think he had made a bet that he would retire from music or something like that if kanye sold more than him and he didn't respect the terms after the fact (or something like that)

These threads have a direct correlation

- The Massacre was commercially successful but the quality of the material that was most promoted was detrimental to the brand and this we saw his next album's first weekk number sell almost half as much
I understand your point, but 50 himself said before the curtis release, that he would do 600 to 700k 1st week, this wasnt a quality issue, was a new standard in the industry, like the "600k is like a million nowdays" he was right All along, but counted out a single factor: the growing hate against his brand, antics, etc
He knew exactly how it would go for him, but excluded the hate on him, and Kanye music quality, who was putting out at that time, arguably his best álbum.

He took their track records with him being interscope cash cow, his past of billboard number one songs, and his previous first week sales.

Its a known fact, that losing wasnt even an option for him. He underestimated the hate/kanye music quality, and "lost" even winning at that time, because he hit the jackpot numbers he wanted for the album at 1st, but the wave of being uncool be a fan of a loser after that, became stronger than ever, and he turned out to be some kind of a failure.
I remember once i was watching TRL after the sales battle, and they was with a rock band wich i forgot the name. They was playing a game of showing some artists pics, and the vocalist had to say the first word to come out of his mind as he sees it. A 50 cent picture appeared, and the cac said "loser". Even the crowd had mixed reactions. Some people was like "ohhhh" and even the the show host kind of double checked his answer saying "loser? Ok, next one". nikka had the 2nd best 1st week of sales that year, and was being called a loser by a rock band that barely went gold... shyt went downhill

If he won, before i self destruct wouldnt do no less than 400k 1st week in 2009, would hit platinum, and curtis would hit probably 3x platinum, he would be fading away and being corny only by 2011...

He peaked way too early commercially, and burned all his bridges with petty beef. Once he lost that sales war to Kanye after all the shyt he talked, his image was shot. I still like the odd track from him and when he's energized his interviews are hilarity

That wasn't that point yet . . the Carter series was still pushing a million first week. That was representative of the changing tides, it might of been spurred by an artificial inflation of Kanye's sales but that Def Jam was known for (although both releases were under the Universal umbrella and this wouldn't of made any business sense) - this was the last nail in the coffin for aggressive content as a premier mainstream product. Going into the 2010s Lil Wayne and Kanye West were the archetypes of the new school - representing weirdos and "artists" respectively

50 is very much an old school rap artist, who was using very traditional and conventional means of marketing himself.... Kanye on the other hand was experimenting and appealing to different demographics, and stressing his "art", versus 50's "business"

50 struggled to get a single, and when he did, it was the street, mixtape sounding track that worked. I Get Money was right after the Glaceau deal and he rode that wave. He was out of touch.

Kanye was remaking a Daft Punk record and paying tribute to Akira in his video.... It signaled the paradigm shift that would really happen after Wayne blew up and the new class of MCs were getting experimented on by majors in the background....

Common and 3 Stacks were respected for their craft but Ye and Weezy really made it "cool" to be eccentric and ironic in hip-hop. Remember Eminem was out of commission at this time and missed this change. Kanye appealed to hipsters outcasts and students with his theatrics, Wayne repped the hood but was very safe for whites also, who loved his cartoonish ironic style. They birthed this entire generation arguably

your inability to see that he is getting blackballed is the reaason why you'll never understand why he has so many stans. 50 is an inspiration for people that want to be real/still be a good person, but still succeed in this world.

50 is constantly getting blackballed by mutliple groups of powerful networks/people

but he is smart/strong enough to succeed in spite of this.

he consistently lays the blueprints for how to thrive in spite of people trying to sabottage you/see you fail in various arenas.
