ive said this about my family multiple times the are conservative by conditioning. and it applies to those in south carolina( thats where the bulk of my dads side of the family is from anyway). • Didn’t have confidence that Sanders’ ideas could come to fruition the current legislative environment(put me in this camp, Sanders’ ability to build coalitions and “rally the troops” is sorely lacking IMO.)
• More comfortable with Biden given his ties to Obama(probably the biggest contingent)
• Would rather a return to normalcy than system shock and revolution(many people just want shyt to calm down)

I think people recognize some things need to be changed don’t see the current situation as a great need for overhaul and don’t see Bernie’s ideas being feasible enough to win an election let alone become law.

Dude please I can write a book on why that’s untrue. He’s a blue dog democrat he’s basically a republican. The crime bill he authored and championed not just voted for. He’s a pathological liar just like trump “ I was arrested with Mandela “ even in his 88 campaign he lied about graduating with 3 degrees and top of his class when he really has one degree and was like 75th of 80 students , there pathological lying. He said he didn’t want his kids to grow up in a racial jungle , he said he was eating dinner and getting along with segregationists. Foh at this cac being a friend of the black community or progressive or whatever , he’s trash period

Here's what I wrote back in December in the quote below and it turned out correct. Older black voters in the south are different from black voters in Minnesota(Bernie won them on Super Tuesday)

Bernie was never getting older black voters in the south. This "he doesn't speak to them" is bad analysis imo. That specific vote is connected to the institution of the Dem party and churches. Bernie is not connected to the institution of the Democratic party and does bad with older voters overall so he's at a complete disadvantage. Jim Clyburn is a community figure and connected to the party for decades so he is able to mobilize his networks. Bernie is up against Obama nostalgia and a polarized electorate that ranks getting Trump out over any policy.

My prediction is that Bernie's going to have the most delegates after the first three states then go on to lose the south and the discourse from professional class liberals will be Bernie didn’t do enough "woke" stuff to win over southern black voters... even though the person that beat him is crime bill Joe Biden.

I don’t think some people on here and on Twitter have any conception of the institutions and networks that drives voting across demographics -- including black voters in the south
