Solid defender
Elite shooting skills

Dude isn't some one dimensional shooter either..he puts the ball on the floor and scores from midrange and even slashes to the rack.

How did he fall to 27th?

I get that the draft had a lot of young talent....I get that he's "old" at 22 coming in and therefore lacks the precious upside that these scouts look for. But these execs had to have known that his game would translate beautifully in today's Nba and still allowed him to plumit

he adjusted very well to the pros
but he wasn't burning it down in college to the point that he was a lottery pick

His shooting wasn't this good in college, he is also 22, and his defense is still in question. He did kill it in combine though but teams didn't know if that was a one day thing so they didn't buy it

You're right and all...but he was first team all conference in the pac 12 and his shooting mechanics and release were always top notch. The skillset was there.

He was a streaky shooter coming out of college. That's a fact and it still shows in the pros now. I don't get the point of your reply

damn lucky then.. cuz in reality... he is way older than the others and did reach his ceilling... by the end of his rookie contract..he will be well in his prime.
