We gon get to the bottom of this shyt once and for all. STYLES got a strong online presence, somebody make sure this nikka see this shyt

Literally had one of the coldest voices and delivery in hip hop

So why does he sound like he inhaled a bunch of helium and hopped in the booth? :wtf:
My nikka lost all the bass & growl in his voice. :gucci:

Some tracks it’s not as glaring but, how did we get here? What changed? :why:

Increased the pitch. When I thought I wanted to be a rapper I liked my pitch to be increased too. Styles probably thinks his regular voice sounds boring/monotone...when it's higher it sounds livelier and all that. Nas was doing it too for a little bit a few years ago but it wasn't as flagrant as Styles, lol. Bro went from sounding like a killer to sounding like Mickey Mouse.

I think this is it because his speaking voice still sounds the same. Him and Banks (like someone pointed out) do this the most.

Styles P, Lloyd Banks and Scarface had the worst voice changes.

I don’t think it’s just the pitch, I think he fixes his voice that way too

That freestyle he did on Funk Flex with Dave East over the UFO beat, his voice was lighter. And he did a freestyle over that same beat in 2005…

nikka sounds like he’s rapping with a lighter tone purposefully

Yup. I always said I liked Styles more menacing delivery and tone. It just made everything sound better. Dave East has had the worst voice change out of anyone tho. nikka sound like Kermit the frog now.
Dare I say he had the BEST delivery in the rap game almost, between him & X. Pac withheld cuz he had been dead

I’m talking early to mid 2000’s Styles? The best gangster rapper period. 50% of that was his voice and delivery
