a) Many of the writers on the project were in school studying these topics when tariq was off doing street shyt. Him saying that they lifted content from HC series, or that the 1619 Project is cliffnotes from his dvd series is a joke. The writers were defending their dissertations(on these topics) when Tariq was still affiliated with gangs and pimps
b) He's creating straw man. He said "some of the 1619 writers used to dismiss us as hoteps"
Forget the fact that he includes scholars in his series BECAUSE they are scholars, for one second. (or that at least one of the writers on the 1619 project appeared in one of the HC). Forget those facts, and pinpoint how any of the people he's calling out contradicted themselves.....as he's implying. He seems to think that he has a monopoly on talking about certain things, even over people who are more educated about these subjects than he is.
