He only did that after Kanye did it everyone knows he's a Kanye dikk rider.

Plus I think he's a fakkit. I don't want know bandwagon fakkit representing black culture. fukking purple tinky winky swag ass nikka.

But we will agree to disagree breh :youngsabo:

I guess so, but I was under the impression (from what little knowledge I have) that some of the 5 percent nations teachings were about equality for all and preaching love and embracing who you are?

I think you guys are far underating the influence of the prison system on the decrease in popularity of 5%.

Basically all the North East dudes who turned UBN in the last 10 years, would have turned 5% in the 90s. Thats by and far the BIGGEST reason 5% lost influence on the young north eastern thugs.

Didnt u read my first post when i addressed.the blood situation and how GOD KALIM failed to properly. address it?

Yes the Bloods did have a tremendoua influence..but the root of the problem was ECONOMICS and COINTELPRO

The bloods involved in drug trafficking and pimping provided an economy for alot of street youth in NYC that their werent seeing in the nation

not to mention prison gods found a bond in symbolisim because the 5% and the bloods all come from the same root which is the MOORISH SCIENCE TEMPLE

which had the 5 pointed star hence the whole WHATS POPPING 5 phrase

Plus according to my enlightner OG MACK was studying MOORISH LESSONS prior to his creation of the UBN

One of the things I remember Chuck D pushing was the family structure with the father leading by example. A POSITIVE, strong male influence in a youngins life to help guide em through the bullshyt, build character, become a man.....One of the most important things us black folks have lost in our family structure. Its more to it than that of course but lack of REAL fathers is killin us.

"With a man in the house n all the bullshyt stops" Chuck was that dude, still is.

That too. A lack of discipline and long term focus is killing us black folk as a whole, and the lack of discipline is killing the quality of music too. Now we got cats that are proud of being shytty rappers/ copycat producers and making money with doing as little innovation as possible.

Only criticism i have about Malcom is that he let his religion absorb him. Black people aren't thriving in any Islamic country, in fact Arabs have been just as hurtful to blacks as any other peoples. I think if Malcolm was allowed to live he would have saw this, he was constantly evolving.

That's what I've never understood.

Man, as far as "quality" of music.....That shyt gets passed on at an early age. Personally speaking, I grew up in diapers engulfed with 70's soul n blues playing all through the apartment. Uncles who were in bands that sung, cats who really thought they was david ruffin n whatnot. Pushed me n my brothers to play instruments n shyt. Drums, piano, sax....We used to go through they album collection trippin off the covers and my pops n uncles would actually play us songs that we liked, and we would all be singin along......shyt, I don't think I was even 10 yet.

Point is dope music should be celebrated and shared. A lotta cats just ain't been put on or "schooled" like my uncles used to say. Really shown what it takes and how to craft and hone what you love to do.......Rap, sing, make beats, whatever.

The kids of this generation are unlike kids of any other generation. Too much dependence on technology, too much focus on standardized testing and too little on other parts of growth, and too little on building anything. Cats just want to get rich and fukk mad hoes whenever they want to like their childhood Jay-Z or Puffy

I blame the fact that people just want to be Jay-Z without the focus or the lyrical dexterity.
