I was wondering why teams were scoring so many points on them when I checked the box score then I did my googles on who they hired to be the coach.

Build a team around a defensive weapon by hiring a coach that don't coach defense brehs.

They won 45 games in the west and went to the playoffs in a rebuilding year. This clearly wasn't a basketball decision. He coached that squad when they were ass, they finally and on an upward trajectory and you don't even give him a shot to coach a winning squad? Who could've done better. Obviously the coach they just hired can't. He doesn't even coach defense. I could see if they hired tom thibodeu or a coach of that caliber, but gentry??

Monty Williams was coaching them for 5 years. It was AD's third year. They traded their 1st rounder the last two years to win now. They wasn't rebuilding shyt.

And Thibs would have been worst in a team that's as injury prone as this one.

They traded 2013 pick and a protected 2014 pick for Holiday. They could've had Noel but he didn't play at all until last season so he wouldn't have made much of a different. The 2014 pick got traded because it was lower and there was nobody in that draft outside of the first few picks anyway. They were rebuilding. And Thibs is a better coach than Gentry.

Bruh, they're not trying to win now. They're trying to sell tickets. When you hire someone like Gentry you expect to lose but you at least want to look good losing and that's what they're doing. And rebuilding doesn't have to be all by drafting players. The Cavs rebuilt by signing Lebron and trading the number 1 pick for Love which is no different that the trade they made for Holiday. And they went to the playoffs last year which showed the rebuild process was going well. But firing Williams was dumb when you look at who they replaced him with.

Either way you look at it though the GM doesn't know what the fukk he's doing.
