Pre nWo i barely effed with WCW for that reason. Dudes like Col. Parker...Craig Pitbull Pittman....the announcers...everything came across as so southern and hillbilly...a lot of confederate flags on deck too.
Outside of Sid, Steiner, and a couple others...i was good

That's some real heat, shyt came off great on tv. I just don't see how cats could hate the NWO...but it's still real to them 'necks
the south really was the worst with trashing the ring since it's been real to them since the Horsemen were beating up Dusty and the Rock and Roll express so heels easily got them near riot status. .. but I vividly recall having to haul ass out of the United Center and Target Center in Chicago and Minneapolis respectively due to Nitro's ending with garbage being thrown at the nWo so it mighta just been the times.
