Why did you upgrade from a ps4 to a ps4 pro?

I didn't no reason to.
theres no need tbh. sure, my og ps4 is loud as fukk, but ill just mod it out and install my own heatsink and a proper (quiet) 140mm cpu cooler fan.
Better framerate and graphics
Bigger hard drive.
Better Wireless Adapter (the OG using non wireless AC was

4k (native, checkerboard, and upscaled)
And the ultimately the price just being 100 bucks more.
I can deal with a game like Horizon looking BEAUTIFUL in checkerboarded/faux 4k.
The market spoke that anything more than 400 is suicide and Sony knows better than anyone after the PS3 release. They've never had the most powerful console on the market either in the previous 3 gens outside of the PS3.
But I knew it was a niche system from the jump. Even in the states, there is like 1 pro sold for every 6 to 7 regular PS4s. It's an option. And most consumers don't care about the shyt that most on here seem to care about. As long as the game looks good "enough", they'll stick to the "regular" PS4 and XB1.
To me, the price of the XBX is not the issue. Granted, those guessing 399 should have never put that out there. Liquid cooling, ultra hd bluray player, and those specs for 399
MS has an exclusive GAMES problem. They are 3 gens in and still haven't gotten it together on that front.

I had a PS4 and I basically wanted a 4K TV and I trust Sony more then Microsoft about products and software, the thing about customers is we don't mind upgrading our electronic brands to the most recent version I.E IPhone or Galaxy, but we need to feel a certain loyalty or trust with the current brand name, that gives us faith on repurchasing, with Sony it was not that PS4 Pro was better then PS4 OG it was because the fact they sold so many PS4's this generation I knew they wasn't making it to regain position in sales, but they wanted to update the product because it came out in Nov 2013.

I didn't and don't plan too. Got the OG Ps4 still trucking. Will cop a $199 slim for christmas to replace it and put the old one in my bedroom. Not paying money to play the same games. Now if the Pro drops to $299 on BF I might get one instead of a slim.
Because that's the only place I can play ps4 exclusives at the greaest fidelity.

I upgraded, and I'm happy I did. I was planning on getting the Pro for the PSVR. I wanted to experience VR is the best possible light the Playstation had to offer. And, after experiencing VR on the PRO, it was a wise decision and investment.
FauxK vs 4K is very narrow so having a 4K TV and Horizon and other Native 4K titles is an awesome experience.
