Maybe some of u know the details better. But i always kinda remember shyne saying in interviews before he got out and and after he got out that his gun wasnt the one who shot that girl in the face. The prosecutors couldnt prove that and that their evidence contadicted that and that it came from another gun.

There was even witnesses that said it wasnt him or w.e.

But puff let his lawyers put the blame on shyne and got fake witnesses to testify agaisnt shyne.
