HnG/UK Garage. Same shyt, its semantics. UKG faded and that "What's you flava" single was corny. Didn't really come with much that captured the publics imagination after the first album.

Sounds like a darkchild type beat back then..the american audience didnt equate this with whatever genre y'all had popping over there. Don't know how his career went in the uk, but over here, by the time he dropped his second album, dude just couldn't compete with usher, Donnell jones, timberlake, maxwell, etc

I feel like the same thing happened to Floetry. Loved them back in 2002 when "Floetic" dropped but seems like they couldn't get that crossover traction in the states.
