He's believed to have been worth at least 400 billion. Had so much money he literally bankrupted an entire country by accident. So much money he was put on the Catalan Atlas. Yet little to no existence of his power can be found today. He literally handed out billions of dollars for free to Arabs instead of taking them over. He had more than enough money to damn near form an all ancient west african army and just take whichever land in africa as he pleased, eventually going to the middle east, then could've decided to take on Asia or Europe most likely with ease since he could've just paid Asian/European mercenaries' to join him. Yet he didn't literally just died and a generation or two later almost all of his money was gone and that was the end of his chapter:francis:. Eventually Portugal came in and started slapping nikkas around and Arabs ran into Timbuktu and took it over, the same people he was handing out money to:francis:.

So Cal
Because cacs are the only truly selfish evil and greedy people because they're driven by fear of going extinct as 11% of the world. They try to teach rice cacs and spicy cacs their ways to sew general discord and stay on top. Black people's willingness to coexist is why cacs keep dealing us Ls

Him trying to take over the world would be a waste of resources. I do think he should have tried to take parts of North Africa though. That way Mali could have gotten in on the Mediterranean trade routes

Not having access to those routes would end up destroying Songhai, because they didn't have guns to compete with the Moroccans
