Too good to be true
Constitution should be changed so supreme court is not for life

Does it really matter? They can effect major change in five, ten, or fifteen year terms. The problem is that Republicans see the judiciary as a means to end certain progressive agendas in all three branches to the point of ignoring whether the person is even fit to sit on the bench.

I wouldn’t want a 60 year old anybody determining what’s best for the Current generation

But yea crazy republicans are a problem too

Nightmare scenario for Republicans 2019.

Dems win house and Senate. Trump impeached with Pence. Pelosi finishes Trump's term. Judicial nominations go full liberal from the Supreme Court on down.

That is like, astronomically unlikely. There's probably a better chance of an asteroid hitting the earth next week than this happening.

But that said, RBG definitely should've retired in the first two years of Obama's 1st term when the Dems had control.

Then they woulda just held up 2 seats. Blame people like @Regular_P and his fellow bernouts for not taking the election serious enough.
Blame Dem leadership for pandering to short sighted fools like you and courting "moderate" Republicans instead of trying to energize their base to increase turnout. Maybe this Crowley loss will be a wake-up call for you guys, but probably not.

That's not how SCOTUS works.
Yeah tell me more about how the SCOTUS works. This should be thrilling. People were calling for her to retire in 2010 and she said she wanted to stay on for as long as she could.

Ginsburg's falling asleep at multiple State of the Unions have been epic. Check them out sometime

She will probably be on life support intubated, and will still be on the SC :russ:
