There's only two movies
although i liked salvation, i can accept this. the series has gone off the rails as hard as the aliens franchise has. although the last movie was bad, at least the last predator series hasnt shyt the bed.. yet

After Terminator 1 and 2 I don't know why they only kept sending one Terminator to do the job. Send like 3 or 4.
The excuse is that John Connor and co. had bodied Skynet's resources and infrastructure so much that Skynet only had time for one Terminator. A last-ditch effort apparently. Anything after T2 is just gonna make you pull your hair

Watch Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. A very good show, and excellent entry into the mythology SkyNet always does things to ensure that it gets created.
SkyNet always sends back multiple terminators, to multiple points in time, all with individual missions, to ensure its creation and survival.

Yeah, pretty much everything after the second terminator is just expanded universe and alternate time lines to me.
especially after I seen they had multiple endings to judgement day. That’s what made me think, well I guess it’s best to think about multiple different endings.
But that Sarah Connor monologue at the very end while driving explained, in my opinion, how we should look at the whole concept behind the movies

Becuz the point isn't to pretext skynet. The purposes is to destroy the one person who can bring down skynet.
