I didn't say Busta flopped. I said he had his time between the mid '90s and mid 2000s. That's accurate.

Scarface, like the Undertaker, has been an iconic figure since 1991, at least and has consistently been in the picture.

The Undertaker main evented Hell in a Cell a few months ago, 25 years after his debut.

Scarface put out a critically acclaimed album a few months ago, 25 years after his solo debut.

Busta's no p*ssy or chump, I agree, all I'm arguing is the respect level for Scarface is WAYYYYY more, which is what makes him like Taker, which is why grown men and women were crying when Lesnar broke the streak. That's a whole nother level of respect.

- busta's time in the early '90s was more meaningful than his late '90s & 2000s run. and seeing how thats the narrative you were trying to push with face & taker.........

- scarface hasnt been in the picture since "guess whos back". lets be reality.

- so what? sheamus main evented as champion just 2 months ago. who cares?

- ive never even heard of this scarface album. and i was down south around that time too. lol @ critical acclaim. youre too caught up in hype.

- any adults crying over a streak, especially for a pre-determined contest, needs to re-evaluate their lives and go get some sex.

This comes late but whoever said The Undertaker was better known in 2016 then John Cena is 100% bonkers.

There's no way that Busta was more relevant with just the verse on "Scenario" and Leaders of the New School, who never went gold or platinum than he was in the mid to late '90s when he was going gold or platinum every year. That's just not possible. Dude was legit famous in the late '90s. In the early '90s, he was a guest verse on Tribe records. BIG DIFFERENCE.

It just seems like you're arguing for the sake of arguing. Scarface JUST put out a critically acclaimed album a few months ago. Just check the reviews from All Hip-Hop and Itunes and everything else. If you don't like Face, then once again, that's just you. Most people disagree with you. You're one of those, "If I don't care about it, it aint important" nikkaz. Well, I'm sorry to tell you, the world don't revolve around you. Face been everywhere from Rolling Stone to Larry Wilmore to Vibe magazine the past few months. You aint see him or heard the record, then you aint payin' attention.

Sheamus did indeed main event a pay-per-view, as the champion, which made him very relevant.

And we might agree that folks crying over the Undertaker's streak might need perspective, but it's a whole hell of a lot of people who need perspective, because it almost broke the internet. Celebrities were posting about it. ESPN covered it like it was a real sporting event.

Once again, just because YOU don't care about something doesn't mean many others don't.

i see that youre ignoring stuff from my posts while rinse & repeating yours. so this is the last response that youre getting from me.

youre too caught up in media coverage & media hype. i dont care if scarface gets perfect scores in every magazine possible. he hasnt made a dent socially or culturally in 14 years with anybody except his lifetime diehard fanbase.

lol @ the sheamus comment. you COMPLETELY missed the point. its laughable.

you do know that vince pays espn to cover this chit right?

of course people are gonna tweet when the undertaker loses his streak. the wwe has been building that streak up for nearly 15 years now. does that mean that hes a top 10 goat? lol.

Dude, the fact that the media is covering face and giving him good scores in magazines is proof of relevance. I don't think you know what relevance is.

Relevance means that people are talking about you, whether it's online or in magazines or on TV. That's the definition of relevance. That'd be like me saying, "Drake's trending on Twitter, magazines are covering him, and he's all over the place, but he's not relevant". What fukking sense does that make?

And yes, Vince has paid ESPN to cover shyt, but he wasn't paying Sports Illustrated, CNN, Huffington Post, and all the other REAL news outlets that covered it like it was real news.

Again, just because something isnt important to you doesn't mean that the rest of the world doesn't care about it.

You are you. You are 1 out of 7,000,000,000 people. You are not that important.

Because he was an undead zombie wrestler and had zero crossover appeal. No one who wasn't already watching wrestling was going to see Taker doing his spooky shyt and think, "Wow, this wrestling stuff really is pretty cool after!". Whereas someone like Austin or Rock could get the attention of non fans and turn them on to the show.

This also doesn't take into consideration that Taker was boring as fukk for pretty much the entire 90s. He didn't start having even decent matches until Mankind came into the picture in 1996, and really didn't start having genuinely good matches until he came back as Biker Taker. He's the ultimate "Wrestling is so fukking stupid" gimmick. Wrestling fans got brainwashed into thinking he was this mythological creature as early as 1997, when JR started saying he was the greatest and most awe inspiring superstar EVER. In 1997, when he had had all of maybe 5 solid matches in 6 years. Greater than HBK/Bret/Hogan/Savage/Andre/Bruno etc. They kept saying it long enough that people believed it even though he didn't have the matches to back it up at all at that point. He has a lot of great stuff post-2000, but wrestling has been on a steady decline since then, so anytime he was actually the main event, it didn't seem to matter.
