Chris Rock ain't the first man he's ever put hands on publicly. And as far as I know he's never been tested. No other man has ever ran up on him, put hands on him, barked on him. Will has proven he ain't afraid to do either one.

If Will were to beat a man to death with his bare hands people would still run with the narrative "he's soft! He's emotional!" If I were to put him on a spectrum of soft - hard (pause), he'd be on the softer side while Chris would be further on the left.
