Why do all animals look the same?

Ive actually thought about this myself before and came to the conclusion that maybe they dont all look alike at all. To an alien us humans would all look alike except for skin tone. Animals probably look different to each other just like we look different to each other

Like every male lion/tiger looks like every other lion/tiger, this applies to a lot of different animals too.

They actually don't look as much a like as u may think. While taking the time to look through some animals that I wanted to draw I noticed that there are a lot of difference that I would have never noticed by just casual glancing at them.

Species will have similar features but are not 100% identical.
The basis of a tiger will all have similar features just like humans have 2 eyes, eyebrows, ears, etc.

Not all animals look the same.

lol this isn't a troll thread this is a serious question. I didn't word it properly but pretty much, every tiger looks like every other tiger, they all look the same. Why aren't they and every other animal different in appearance like humans?

i saw this documentary where babies were able to tell animals apart. but we lose that ability after early childhood. i forget why

Some animals evolve differently. If you look far enough back on some of these animals' family tree you'll find some variance there I promise you. It's likely that a large amount of visual variance did them no favors. Take flowers as an example. They look and smell differently to attract bees and other flying insects to help them reproduce. It is a survival trait. Visual variance helped them keep their lineage going. It did them favors. For some other creatures that may not be that big of a deal and they reproduce regardless. No need for an evolutionary change up.

im sure if you had a dog for like 5 years and it was lost and you wetnt to the pound and there are 10 other dogs that "look the same" you would be able to tell which dog is yours by looking close enough.

That's cuz babies are fresh from the spirit world..their soul is freshly in their body and their 3rd eye is awake fully pumping more Dimethyltryptamine thru their blood vessels ..which gives them more access to see and do things adult humans can't..
