Are you going to tell me that "The Boston Tea Party" isn't one of the MOST celebrated acts of terrorism in the USA?

Or maybe you have a different definition of terrorism...

It just happens that the terrorists won, and now they call themselves Americans...So, another thought...Was the second amendment written to protect people against tyranny or to keep the terrorist spirit going going, or maybe both...

It was written so that you can shoot the government generally, or more specifically so that the govt could not have a monopoly on force of arms vs its citizenry

"Terrorism" is a modern concept, the existence of which almost presupposes the existence of literacy and mass media. The concept would not have been familiar to the Founding Fathers and it arguably only applies to certain acts by the Sons of Liberty against loyalists. Not all insurrections are "terrorist" in nature.

How was the Boston tea party a terrorist act?

You mean the British were terrorizing Americans with the stamp act and having em pay tarrifs so the Sons of Liberty threw their tea in the harbor ?

Politically, I am Canadian...Philosophically, I am a Human Being and I hold ZERO allegiance to any flag or country...

I am only proud of goals that I have achieved through my own will and determination...Being "proud because of this race or that race, or this nationality and that nationality" never made sense to me...

In fact, that type of thinking is what leads to racism/nationalism/ethnocentrism and ultimately to war, slavery and holocausts and etc...

More pain than pleasure has come from that type of divisive thinking...
