It's hard to understand LeBron's overall impact, only his teammates can fully appreciate. When you miss your rotation but LeBron covers up by jumping the passing lane and your mistake turns into a highlight dunk for your team. Shane Battier said when he got to Miami he kept calling his ex-teammates to tell them how much of a beast LeBron was. He makes his guys better by covering up A LOT of shyt. That's why his teams suck when he's not on the floor.

Bruh, there were many great players in the alpha role for their teams that haven't accomplished what mj did. Chicago had 1 great season when mj retired. 1 season. The next year when Jordan came back they were 3 games above 500 and weren't even going to make the playoffs. Same roster with additions AND Phil Jackson. Jordan came back and they went 13-4. Pippen never was on Jordan's level.

I just think they respect Kobe more for how he played and his work ethic. Statistically, Bron is the superior player no doubt(which is why he'll always be hailed by journalists and analysts) but just like I said in the other thread, I think Kobe's peers know how far he was trying to push his game.

LeBron has the best elimination game numbers in NBA history, LeBron has some of the greatest moments and games in NBA playoff history, has more playoff GW's than Kobe on better efficiency and has as many as Mike, has led the league in 4Q scoring yet his killer instinct is questioned.
It's all about demeanor and aesthetics. It's because Kobe was an explosive volume scorer who would pull up 40 shots, win or lose if he felt like it and he had legendary work ethic. He modeled his game after the killer, Michael Jordan while LeBron plays like LeBron. Kobe is retired and older than LeBron when he fukked up is forgotten he's a legend with lore now. But I remember a time when nikkas thought T-Mac and A.I. was better than him, I remember a time where he was villainized after losing in the Finals/Shaq beef/rape trial.
For every legend that played this game you can find moments where they came up short. LeBron is more scrutinized and analyzed than anyone else, he doesn't lack killer instinct because the things he's accomplished are not that of someone who isn't a killer on the court.

Russ ain't no killer. Guy has shyt the bed in big playoff games time and time again. He has demonstrative demeanor and is a fukking chuck which is why he is labeled a killer. This is what this "killer instinct" stuff is about, who makes the nastiest faces, strongest fist pump, and shoots regardless of double team, regardless of heavy contest, regardless if its the right basketball play.
