kobe really isn't even on LeBron's level but I understand from an nba player's perspective why they may say kobe.
- because kobe is more skilled, and arguably a better 1-on-1 player, and that's the main thing players look at. specifically players who never become coaches.
- plus theres this whole garbage about killer instinct and "heart".
- also, I feel a lot of resentment towards LeBron. hes clearly the more impactful & dominant player, and crushed a lot of dreams
- players claim theyre glad that they can make their own moves, but still diss LeBron for going to Miami
- and like someone said earlier, most of the players look at LeBron as a peer, as opposed to kobe, who was out there as far back as the '90s.
whats funny is most of these players saying kobe, don't even want to play with dude but would jump at the chance to play with LeBron. you even have GMs & teams out here waiting for LeBron to retire. kobe never had anywhere near that kind of effect.
skip: and why do you put kobe over LeBron?
kmart: just mentality
