That Lebron hate crazy

Because he played in a sh*t conference and still couldn't make the finals without forming Voltron with Wade. Kobe has been to more finals than Lebron coming out of the West![]()

Kobe would have been to the finals damn near every year of his career coming out of the East, forget Detroit and Boston, how in the f*ck you get beat by the Orlando Magic?![]()

Thats recency bias. The east has been weak for the past few years but Detroit, Boston and Miami all won ships while Bron was in Cleveland. Thats 3 of his 7 years in the league before going to Miami. But he's also played in the Eastern conference that has been historically weak during his entire tenure compared to Kobe who played in the West that has been loaded his entire career.
stans can't have it both ways. You can't excuse his finals losses by saying his teams were overmatched then claim he's some guy who can carry teams by himself.
I would say Kobe has proven more capable of winning with a non-elite supporting cast than LeBron. Kobe won back to back titles in 2009 and 2010 with Pau Gasol as his second best player. A guy who is the equivalent of Chris Bosh and Kevin Love. Guys who were LeBron's third option.
Kobe >>> LeBron at leading a team to contention.
LeBron is guy who needs overwhelming help to win rings while Kobe only needed one all-star like Gasol.

Even IF youre correct, the point still stands that Brons team has been a contender for basically the past 10 years. Prime Kobe had a number of teams that werent threats. And Im not blaming Kobe for that. Im saying I give Bron props because its incredible that some of those teams were contendersActually no it isn't. Cause even in those years the East won the NBA championship, the conference wasn't actually strong. The year Detroit won, it was considered a monumental upset and the East was weak as fukk. Miami in 06 also won in an upset coming back from down 2-0. Boston in 2008 is probably the only legit strong champion from that era from the East. And you could argue that 2009 and 2010 the East was as strong as the West at the top since they had 3 legit contenders in Boston, Orlando, and Cleveland. But even then the West had way more depth. Remember OKC made the playoffs in 2010 as the 8th seed with 50 wins.
There is no recency bias going on here. The Eastern conference has more or less been TERRIBLE for the last 18 years. There were a few years like 2008-2010 where it was respectable. But overall it has been significantly weaker than the West. And that isn't really up for debate.
I guess you started watching basketball in recent years like most kobe-lovers.
cuz LeBron carried the cavs to the finals in '07, before "forming voltron". this was also before kobe went to the finals as the star of the team.
unlike kobe, LeBron didn't have the priviledge of playing 2nd option to Shaquille O'Neal.

you do realize that Detroit & boston beat the lakers too, right?
LeBron's cavs with ilgauskas as the 2nd best player, put up a better fight than the lakers, btw.
meanwhile, kobe had lamar odom & caron butler, and couldn't get out the 1st round.

kobe is not that type of winner. hes not gonna carry a team anywhere.
by your fantasy logic, kobe would've stayed in charlotte, instead of forcing a trade to a loaded lakers team where he didn't even start until year 3.
but yall want to condemn LeBron for not wasting his career, playing for a team that turned down amare stoudemire in favor of j.j. hickson.
The only issue is the GOAT talk. Lebron is one of the better players of this generation. Let's just leave it at that.
nikkas take pay cuts to play with Bron and leave millions on the table to get away from Kobe. Proven facts.
Kyrie has won more playoff games the last 3 years than he won regular season games his whole career without Bron. At least Bean chucked his way to 35 ppg and a playoff birth. This nikka Kyrie can't lead a team out of the Eastern Conference gutter.![]()

. Players are queing up to play with lebron indeed. Biggest ongoing myth in the nba.Even IF youre correct, the point still stands that Brons team has been a contender for basically the past 10 years. Prime Kobe had a number of teams that werent threats. And Im not blaming Kobe for that. Im saying I give Bron props because its incredible that some of those teams were contenders
Put Kobe in the East with the same squads was winning 45 with in the West and he would have been a threat to make the finals. Are you really this retarded? The point of the disparity between the East and the West is to illustrate that this idea that LeBron was always contending and Kobe wasn't is a function of one playing weaker competition than the other.
We know from the teams they won rings with that Kobe was the player who carried less talent to the championship. The only times LeBron has won chips, he's had teams that are more stacked than Kobe when he just had Gasol. Wade/Bosh/LeBron and Kyrie/Love/LeBron are both more talented than Kobe with just Pau Gasol and 0-time all-star Lamar Odom.

Lol. Kobe had the best frontline in the league when he won those 2 titles. Front like those Lakers were scrubs if you want but you just making things up to fit your faulty narrative.Put Kobe in the East with the same squads was winning 45 with in the West and he would have been a threat to make the finals. You mean it looks prettier, not that its efficient right?
So you're not basing this off numbers of course, so what are you basing it on? His mamba face?Let's be honest...outside of the paint, Kob is light years ahead of Bron
Bron's game is not nearly effective when he's not getting 5-6 lay ups
I disagree, but it is what it is. LeBron just does more on the floor than Kobe. It's almost like the line "Wilt could be Russell, Russell could never be Wilt" to me, the average NBA player believes in a role where his offense is maximized and emphasized is more like what we've seen from Kobe than what we've seen from LeBron, which is why they could often relate to Kobe and pick him over LeBron.
As far as better things on the floor, LeBron shot better from 3 than Kobe - career 34 percent to Kobe's 32 percent. LeBron has 7 seasons shooting over 50 percent from the floor and all 7 seasons he averaged close to 7 assist in all of them AND 36 percent from 3 in four of them. He's one of the few players in the league that could thrive as both the roll man and ball-handler in the pick and roll, his size allowed him to play all five positions and defend multiple positions, including some defense at the rim.
Kobe and LeBron were both great defenders. This is why we can't always play the eye test. Kobe was not a good defender after 2008, yet still received awards for his defense. A ton of players in the league have reptuations for being good defenders and it's just not there. Both are top 15 players all-time, but LeBron just does more on the floor and does it more efficiently
