why do Apartments have these gates going into their complex?

has it ever prevented anyone from going in? all you need to do is wait for a car going in or out....shyt is a fukking pain in the ass waiting for these slow ass gates to open.

basically i lived in an apartment that only had 1 way in and 1 way out with a security guard. only residents who had proof of thier lease could get a card that you had to swipe to open the gate.

the security guard never did shyt lol. let anybody in. multiple cars waiting in line like popeyes on a tuesday for someone to open the gate.

Breh i had my car stolen out of a gated complex,and they tried to raise my rent on the lease when it was time for renewal.

We had a gate and a arm that dropped in front of the gate. After that happened I started being an a$$hole, when I noticed someone waiting behind me I just hit my brakes so the arm would drop on their roof .

It must be the norm for the gates to constantly be broken too.Every gated apt I've lived in,that has been the case.
