why do black crowds at Hip Hop shows be so dead

i went to a show a few weeks ago with shawn chrystopher and phil ade and they were killing their performances. i knew shawn, but this was my first time hearing phil ade ever and the nikka was so live. his energy was crazy and his showmanship was ill on stage. same thing for shawn. both had great energy and nikkas just wasn't moving at all. like i said, this this is not about black people not knowing how to have a good time. many of you sensitive ass nikkas took it out of context and tried to play the race card. we know nikkas know how to get down when they want. this is just about coming out to shows and being a responsive participant. with no ACTIVE crowd participation it makes the show less memorable. we always talk about albums and singles but neglect live show commentary and what makes that area of MC mastery so official. i believe if we were to come out at observe some of these nikkas live in person and truly test them on stage they wouldn't get passes so easy.

I been to shows of all kinds thats hype as shyt I find race doesn't really have to do with it but the fanbase. I been to 2 A$AP shows that was super live, went to Under the Influence tour where he's doing his set between Wiz and B.o.B. and it wasnt anywhere near as live, some people was standing still even If it's a crowd thats not so familiar with the artist and really only knows them for their mainstream work the crowds gonna be weak, but if its a crowd really connected with their fanbase like Wu, Odd Future, or even someone like Kendrick it's gonna be a lil more turnt up.


Another one was Watch The Throne, me and my boy was up getting hype but our section in the middle rows was weak as shyt. Some people sitting down even just knowing Kanye or Jay for a few songs or just going to check it out or something. White and Black
