Like I said in that thread, I am not talking about numbers, I am talking about behaviors. TO ME, a spade is a spade regardless of gender. Your hypocritical ass can only see a spade if it is a woman. Why would I be mad at the thread. I am natural and have been for years (I said that in the thread plenty of times, but clearly you ignored it to try to change the subject. Many of you guys can never address the points people make without trying to saying they must fit a certain mold just because you don't have anything else to say). You didn't want to call a spade a spade because some of those spades were black men. At least I was consistent you hypocrite.

Also my man loves me (and based on what I've heard about myself "they don't make them like me anymore"). If you have to go through that thread and read all my posts then do it. I posted pictured of men bleaching their skin and conking their hair. The ONLY thing you were concerned with is what black men were doing when the majority of men in the thread were agreeing they prefer their black women to be natural. The thread wasn't negative to black women at all, but you still found some way to bring a counter argument, which didn't even address a solution.

That is why I asked whether you guys thought that was the same thing. I just wanted to see if you guys are consistent. If a woman even asks you guys that question, we are accused of being bald-headed, weaved up, permed out, copping out self-haters (which is silly because we are all natural in this thread and it stifles any type of healthy conversation because you are put on the defensive if you say anything that doesn't align with what you guys think we should say).

The only reason this came up is because I keep on seeing men in this thread excusing the same behaviors in men. I'm not talking about the number of people who do it. I am talking and asking about actions and guys always respond with "well there aren't a lot of men who do it so..." (which to me is excusing the behavior if a man does - as long as not too many men do it).

It's really just a test to see if there is even a reason to have this discussion (I can't talk to people who don't show consistency because it impossible to reason with these type of people or try to help them understand certain things through examples). To me:

Permed man and permed woman are the same to me.
Natural women who put all types of concoctions in their hair to define "curls" that they wouldn't have without all that work/product are the same as men who put all types of concoctions in their hair to define wave/curls that they wouldn't have without all that product. They are the exact same actions and they stem from the "good hair" debate.

The point is, a lot back men aren't living up to their potential because they have unrealistic dreams without any type of fall back. In the end those same guys end up in dead-end careers, unhappy with life, and end up complaining about black women on the coli. It's pathetic really. Everyone can't be a rapper and a basketball player. Why is that the dreams of so many black men given that it will only be the reality for a few?

Hmmmm I still find this to be a little bit unsettling even though you did qualify it properly... you can still properly qualify something and make a horrendous generalization. I can say a lot of black men are criminal ignorant thugs ... not all but a lot, and it would still be a terribly inaccurate statement due to the implications of the way you qualified it. Lets say chris b made a thread title and opening post doing nothing but generalizing black women negatively and trying to use his experience to justify generalising black women, you'd be in there calling him out something serious and you certainly wouldn't dap him for it, yet you daped gators ridiculously stupid post which consisted of nothing but generalizations against black men, again, why is that?
