Let me tell you guys a story.
My cousin's brother in law used to stay with him and his wife(when he was a student), in a mixed neighborhood.
Dude socialized with a lot of white guys. They would all come through his neighborhood blasting music when they were rolling in or out together.
I pulled him to the side, and asked him to pay attention to what the volume level is when those white kids are pulling up on the blocks in the cities where their parent's homes were.
Never told my cousin about the conversation, but he told me later that his bro in law and his friends stopped the stupid shyt.

I still didn't do it. I listen to music but not on obnoxiously ignorant levels. For me, it draws too much attention and makes people remember you/your car unnecessarily. I like being low key and moving without being noticed.

Other than people's cribs, I don't notice it with cars any more. Matter fact, the last instances I recall of someone blasting music while driving were white dudes. Prior to the pandemic I'd see the occasional black motorcyclist blasting music. It's really rare nowadays though.
