Why do black people blast music way too loud then get mad when people tell them to turn it down?

nikka if u in NYC I KNOW u full of shyt. Spanish people but blasting they shyt CRAZY loud no matter what time of the day or night it is. Not only that. Will pull up. Park they whip. Keep they shyt blasting. Pull out a lawn chair or some shyt on the sidewalk. Pull out a cooler with some alcohol in it. And just party on the fukkin sidewalk all night. Especially when it’s getting warm out.

Let’s be real - people do this so everybody on the street can hear their sounds.
As mentioned, it ain’t just Black folk.

Now, the issues:

A) Everybody doesn’t share the same taste musically. It’s a lot like being a DJ, and everybody
can’t move the crowd. Lot of folks just bump new/allegedly “hot” chit, without regard for how it
sounds.

B) There should be etiquette, but there isn’t. At the gas station the whole time,
car wash the whole time, the drive-thru lane where they already can barely hear other people’s
orders anyway, picking up your kid at school, after midnight in your crib, or you just on a busy street
pulled over talking to somebody and you get your whole ass out the car with the engine off but the
sounds still on high as fucc - you are an a$$hole. Act like you got some sense and turn it down/off.
Really, it should be for when you’re in motion.

Done well, it can be a pleasant experience. For example:

- a few days ago when Shock G died, I was the grocery stow. A nicca pulled up bumpin’ “The Humpty Dance”.
It was a vibe! A group of folks was gigging. I said something to dude when he parked and we was talking about how he died, and a couple of people didn’t know yet.

- I had a job interview once. I got there early to prep sitting in my car, it was about noon/lunchtime.
Walking from the lot, I hear R “You’re Body’s Callin’”. I go over there and there’s a dude looking like he’s
eating his lunch in the car. I say “this is what I needed - some chill music right now”. Listened for a li’l bit, gave
him a dap, and went off.

- (has happened at least 3 times in life Cop the new E-40 on the release date, go somewhere else that day and somebody else is blastin’ it.

But yeah, there’s definitely inappropriate times.
