As someone who has lived around white people, this is not a black people thing. My girlfriend is ready to literally shoot one of her neighbors, because this cac plays Bruce Springsteen loud as hell in his back yard. He plays other stuff, but mostly the Boss. Every day and it's like people on the street are afraid of him. She's called the cops multiple times and they don't do shyt. I wasn't with her last year, but for the 5 years she's had that house, he's been doing that shyt.

As a 39 year old man child who never came of age, with a car that already has extremely loud tail pipes....

I blast my music all the way until i enter the garage (but day time hours only, dont do this past 8 pm).


Another thing is that while yes, the music is on full blast, i have been wearing ear plugs since doing this in my late teens.

20 years later and my driving/music habits are exactly the same.

It validates the racists and general beliefs that black people don't know how to act, are degenerate, and have low IQ's (emotionally and mentally) all which isn't true but just gives ammo to continue racial disparities against us.

I feel like everywhere I go I gotta make a good impression and go above and beyond to make up for nikkas. Most servers at restaurants or any workers in customer service hate dealing with black people (even other black workers) because of the way nikkas act and conduct themselves. Just look at that recent miami airport brawl and all the airport brawls that are (98 percent of the time) black people. It's getting out of hand. Just basic forms of civility seems like asking for a lot these days. We get treated the way we do cuz of this type of shyt. It's not just about music.

MLK Jr was one of the most peaceful, noble, and civil figures we've had in American history. They damn near blew his jaw off.


Black people have been hated for hundreds of years (and the atrocities they've done to us are far worse than what we have done to them). America, specifically was built on racism, and it's firmly ingrained into its fabric and none of this is going to change regardless of how you act or present yourself really. Racists typically choose and actively want to be racist. You shouldn't stress yourself over things you have no power over, OP.

For the record, I've had several co-workers who have or had fitted speakers in their cars, all of them were White. I can't think of the last time I seen a Black person with their music on blast. It's been a while. Dudes definitely don't do it as much now as they used to back in the day.
