em has skills but his music is not my thing. I didn't like the Slim Shady LP at all, I did like MMLP and Eminem Show was ehhhh. Then pretty much sucked after that. Relapse was decent too actually.

Threadstarter is generalizing, massively. Skill-wise, Eminem is consistently put in Top 10 lists, and this is regardless of the person's race. The only sort of racial disparity I see when it comes to Em is on the two issues of discography and whether his best material sounds dated or not.

And let's be real, you know Eminem can't fight and is really a complete p*ssy.
If I saw him on the streets, I'd kick his scrawny white ass :pacspit:

one of the things I always liked about Eminem was the fact that he could make being corny sound dope. In addition to just being dope in general.

the songs were what most of you would deem corny, but he destroyed "without me" and "the real slim shady" with the flow. It was just so effortless back then.

Probably has something to do with his music being trash and made for cacs to relate to. Cacs are curious about the lives of black people but we know you cacs all to well so its like, fukka eminem.

I have Em at 6/7 all time. Somewhere between DMX and Ludacris.

White people have that superiority complex. Not blacks. Black people can listen to an artist and enjoy it for what it is. White people cant do that. They have to declare whatever they like "they greatest thing of all time". You have to understand its only natural for a black person to not like an artist when you have CERTAIN white people, who know nothing and dont even listen to hip-hop outside of Em trying to tell us who the best rapper alive is. There aren't any blacks who listen to Darius Rucker and claim him to be the greatest country musician of all time.

hearing that by a handful of people doesn't make that ridiculous statement any truer
This isn't a "Handful" of people.
There are hundred of thousands of people who feel this way.
The same way many feel about Macklemore and Mac Miller.
You can pretend this mentality doesn't exist but it definitely does.

Well yea. it is funny. Its funny to constantly hear black men say they don't date black women then hear a white guy who's so engulfed in hip-hop culture say it, then its a problem.

Saying I don't give a fukk about what Em said doesnt mean I endorse racism. Schoolboy Q just down-played the whole Zimmerman/Martin trial in an interview and I don't give a fukk. That doesn't mean I endorse Zimmerman killing an innocent child. It means I don't give a fukk about what rappers say. At the end of the day, they're all idiots and if you let anything they say effect you in the slightest your just as dumb. If a politician said something like this, I'd have a different opinion.
Being passive to any sort of racism might as well be an endorsement.
And to say black men constantly state they have a dislike for black women is
a generalization, but I'm sure you know that.

I agree with what you stated in that there is obviously
a group of people who couldn't careless for Hip Hop but
they'll still find time to champion Eminem.
