Why do brehs continuously cop unreliable,trash cars?

My boy got a 2013 Volvo XC90 truck and his alternator just went out, car only got 45k on it$270 for the replacement/install. In my group of friends I'm the only one who knows a lil something bout cars so they always come to me, can tell you a bunch of stories bout brehs with Dodges, Jags, Benz.

Meanwhile my 92' Camry has the original alternator,engine,trans, starter etc. and haven't had a problem

Given certain brands track record for reliability, why y'all still copping

Besides regular maintenance(tires,oil,etc) I've put exactly $400 into my shyt in the two years I've had it. Drove it down to Tennessee for my cousin wedding with no problem last month.

Bet yall weak ass Dodge Chargers or Impala wouldn't even make it past the 10 year mark without a major issue, buy American car brehs
