I was on a gun owners website earlier and these dudes were calling Mandela a racist? So the apartheid system wasn't racist, Mandela was racist for fighting against it. These motherfukkers are delusional.

I was at a Cornel West lecture a few years ago and he was talking about 'American terror' folks like the Klan and the nature of terror in regards to slavery. I'll never forget this: he said "White Americans should thank God there was never a black Taliban or a black Al-Qaeda." Swear you could've heard a pin drop. Is there ANY room to criticize someone who fights against a system which oppresses them daily? And not some super libertarian 'taxes and speed limits oppress me' bullshyt, but apartheid/slavery/Jim Crow oppression. shyt hit me like a ton of bricks.

His organization was designated a terrorist organization and their names were put on the US terror watchlist, in fact Mandela was on the list up to 2008. It was cold war politics at best, every anti-colonial movement that got support from the Soviets or China were deemed to be terrorists.
