Why Do Californians Always Hate On New Yorkers?

I never hear anyone in cali talking about new york friend. Usually, because new york is small and more people are able to huddle up in corners and talk about random nothing all day, they are more likely to talk about whats going on in california. Every new yorker ive brought here has wanted to move here but most californians i know that have moved to new york end up back in cali.

Me neither...Most of my folks in LA could give a rat's ass about NYC, period. When I lived in NY, I was in awe at how nikkaz were making such a mockery out of the gang culture. I mean, you had "sets" named after real sets in LA (I've encountered "Hoover Crips" in Queens, "Pirus" in Long Island, etc.). I for one would NEVER live in NY again, but I wouldn't move back to Cali, either....

My main complaint with new yorkers is the bytches are ugly as sin but come to my state acting like they deserve to be treated like dimes lookin like straight up crackbabies. bytches aint bad enough to get that level of appreciation but really really think that attitude is cute. I say hello you actin like you cant speak. Girl i oughta kick the back of your ankle while you walk. All good till they end up gettin smacked up by nikka, then its back to mommies house in the 5 boroughs.

Oh yes, some of the bytches out there sense of entitlement is ridiculous. I've seen bytches that look Bernard Hopkins act as if their the hottest thing North of the Mason-Dixon line. You think in LA that they be on some Hollywood shyt? Shiiiit...

A lot of niccas in Cali like NY. Me included. I've been there 3 times. You got a few cats in The_Coli that start shyt up but imo in real life its the NY's who shyt on Cali the most

seems like that whole fast-paced go-go-go mentality of the east coast pisses you guys off

you dudes are too lax down there, that's why when east coast cats go down there they automatically think they can take over, even if thats not entirely true

I don't get the whole "laid back" perception of LA at all. Maybe if you visit and hit the beach and other tourist areas you might feel its laid back or you've hung out with some people that live off their parents and chill all day but in my surroundings & the people I know, everybody is hustling and on that grind for that dough.

Like I said I've been to NY and I like the pace of the city but not everybody was doin' something productive or hustling out there. Let's not get it twisted. I mean what they're in a hurry to go buy cigarettes?

In my experience I think Cali heads know when they're not in Cali and don't expect shyt to be like it is back home. Like right now I'm visiting fam in rural Mississippi. But I'm not out here like "where's the bars and lounges at? I'm from Cali and we have it like this & that out there, blah blah blah". I tell myself I'm not at home and this is how it is out here. A nice percentage of NY'ers I know or ran into, NOT ALL, but a nice percentage don't do this. Its all "ya'll aint got this? In NY we got this and that, and I'm used to this and that cause in from NY, etc etc" and I'm like chill doggie.. You're from the biggest city in the United States. They do call it the Big Apple for a reason right. You're not at home right now breh. It is what it is

No doubt the beach cities are laid back. Manhattan Beach, Hermosa, Redondo Beach, Newport, etc. Hell some of those parts damn near look like a vacation resort towns.. Especially Manhattan Beach.
