My family is from the Islands, and It's a great place to vacation..but let's not act like Any Caribbean island is better living than in the United States for the average person.

Thats not better than you. Its because of the opportunity most Americans piss away.
America theres more opportunity to make something of yourself than anywhere else in the world. Its why people from countries all over the world(not just the west indies) come here to do what they have to do and then go back to where they came from. Its not just Caribbeans who feel that way alot of people all over the world look at Americans that way. Its why immigrants come here and set up shop and build wealth for their families then go back to their native land.
