@Mephistopheles is so on point about this being the worst forum on the board, by far. I'm glad someone had the guts to say it. Armchair militants need a subforum so we can get back to the fukkery here.

When @The Nigerian jumped on the militant wave that should have been a heads up on the integrity of the whole thing. shyt is dap/rep boosting under the guise of black empowerment. Its sickening

but most people understand that a lot of the coli militants are just posting in character for attention and validation anyway; most of them are harmless as long as you don't give any credence to the redundant garbage they post

sometimes it is funny watching them trivialize black issues by simplifying everything to "if you disagree with this ill-conceived nonsense I'm about to say, you're a c00n" or personally attack people who aren't perfectly aligned with their stance and opinions, it just shows how irrational and loosely based in reality a lot of their shyt really is

and sometimes you can make threads like this and watch them out themselves, posting thru clinched teeth and tight knuckles as they think of anything they can to discredit the messenger while proving the message right

but the biggest tragedy is how the coli has morphed over the years, to where it seems to be inviting to these carbon copy armchair militants. I've seen many of them declare the coli is supposed to be a platform for them to regurgitate the same insults and talking points dozens of times a day; they believe that back in 2012 the coli was created with them in mind

instead of being sport, hip hop and piff, they think this is a hub for pseudo-militants to retort, flip flop and bytch


many of the more sensible posters saw this trajectory coming and warned about it, but the great thing bout groupthinking is how easy and painless it is; it was easier for the masses to keep repping, dapping and arguing in and about shytty racebait threads, and c00n/bedwench topics, than it was to go against the grain and question the effectiveness or ultimate goal of that kind of fukkery

now that kinda lazy, antagonistic armchair activism is so ingrained into the culture of the site that we actually refer to em as coli militants

I'll say this, as a brief lurker on SOHH before the change & since I joined here...the Coli has always encouraged freedom of thought. It was a vast collective of mindsets on here in 12. The only thing I don't like is the calling for mods all the time. Let people say their piece, neg them or whatever but unless they are just denigrating black people then you should be able to say your opinion.

In terms of the bed wench/c00n stuff. I think these guys are trying to establish some sort of code of conduct among black people (which is very much needed). But imo I think it should come with some form of reasoning. i.e. I believe black love/couples should be promoted but it is beyond reason to believe that no mixing will occur. People are people, thus you will be attracted to other races simply by proximity.

I honestly don't think those who are concerned with the black cause incessantly berate their own people by calling them insulting terms like bed wench and c00n. You have people like @AntiVenom who believe in pro black male, calling me a bed wench for no reason (and even admitting he had no reason to call me one except I had to prove I wasn't lol), so can we really say those types of people are concerned with the community? Honestly speaking breh, you seem level headed, and the likes of @kp404 are not even close to concerned with dumb shyt like that (he puts in WORK). I think you brought up a great point about countering the incessant bed wench stuff here by show casing black love.

Side note: The Salon has been a great addition to the coli and a breath of fresh air so far. And nikkas like @mrken12 always wanna blame the female posters on here for trolling and shyt.
