Essentially, any thread that didn't come from "approved" sources like CNN and BBC were essentially moved to the "Free Speech/Bushes". It was made clear that any posts that didn't fit the narrative the mods and the "elite" posters like yourself agreed upon (pro gay, pro isreal, pro democrat, etc) would not be tolerated.
I think the mods try to reinforce standards of discussion by only allowing news sources that are journalistically credible and provide empirical data for their claims. So for instance, when you post some bullshyt article from Alex Jones about how the government is using chemtrails to turn people into brainwashed assassins or whatever, they move it to the bushes because it's not sourced with any evidence. That keeps discussion honest and prevents people from going off the rails with wild, conspiratorial claims unbecoming of a forum that's supposed to be for academic-style discussion. But you can ask
@BarNone @Brown_Pride and
@Liu Kang about that. Maybe there's a different thread to discuss your grievance.
