I don't subscribe to the word 'militant' because no one in their right mind is advocating that on here.
I have a few questions to the OP & those who agree with his thoughts. This is important to answer in order to formalize a real constructive discourse.

Do you all feel that the trajectory of the blacks in America is progressing at a pleasing rate?

To answer this question directly, being militant implies a significant level a single mindedness and aggression

Let's see, yall hate black women. There goes 50% of black people.

So some of us will settle because being "socially intergrated" is perceived as a win for Blacks. We're a nation within a nation being treated like 2nd class citizen. And there is no end in sight for this foul treatment we receive. Separation is the only sane objective and ideology
