Do you think people from low income areas can afford to go to college? We are too busy workong full time just to keep the lights on. You literally wouldnt have a clue about that. But keep listening to music you cant relate to because you ate trying to be cool lol. I has to leave school at 16 and join the workforce or i would have starved to death. College was never an option. Its for spoiled people.

My parents survived a war, fled a 3rd world country, raised 6 kids, and still have 7 degrees between them.

I guess they just spoiled? :ohhh:

Did you ever consider that maybe you're just full of excuses and wouldn't amount to shyt anyway? :yeshrug:

What are you talking about? My dad got a degree after coming from morocco as an illegal immigrant. Lol at thinking i have the intelligence for a degree. I was kicked out of school at 16. I joined the workforce.

And what does my dads life have to do with my life. We are.2 completely different people raised in different countries and different households. I was raised by my mother, my nig brotber and my boxing coach.

Before I even started to fukk with Logic I know alot of the hate he got was from his biting/flow switching which was evident as fukk in his album Under Pressure cause it seems like he was just cobbling together facsimile raps (culture vulture?) that sounded alot like his counterparts, mainly Kendrick Lamar.

The Coli hates anything non or partially black so couple that in with the common lot of what I said along with Logic constantly reminding us that he's part black and went through the ''struggle" and what's not...and you kinda got dude's whole catalogue from what I've heard.

All shyt aside, dude can flow on certain tracks and his singing ain't bad either .I don't all the way fukks with Logic Lamar, but he aight at times .

You don't have a favorite rapper, but you are here caping for one :comeon:

You are lying to yourself more than anyone else.

Who am i caping for? You seem to have very bad reading comprehdnsion for a college educated nerd lol. Im asking why coli posters dont listen to rappsrs from the same.baclground as them and the same life experiences? Or do you listeb to gangsta rap, trap to make yourself feel tough or feel some struggle? It doesnt have tk be logic. It could be j cole. It could be chance the rapper. These are all rappers who lived the same life as you coli posters.

Not sure why you would listen to people like future migos and that when you have nothing to relate to them.

I listen to craig david and shyt like that. I dont listen to rap because its a bunch of idiots trying to live out theor tough giy persona througj raps. The dudes from my school that ended up rapping werent the cool kids or the dealers or the hard kids. They were the music nerds who hid away in thenmusic room at lunch. Nobody knew who they were now all of the sudden they show up in their late teens/early 20s as some sort of gangster/ddug dealer. Ots fukkong hilarious

After hearing 20-30 seconds of the suicide song or w/e...

I have no desire to listen to any of his music.

Call it hating if you want.

No. My dad was dirt poor or as that dikkhead poster above would say a loser. Im talking real poor not this 1st world.country pretending to be poor while having running water and heating. He left the country with nothing and enduo with a degree. This was after years and yeats of workong minimum wage and having nothing. Thats a completley different sotuation than growing up middle class in america graduating hogh school and getting a college education with the help of your parents paying your student loan and giving you money evwry weekend.

Why do you think he did all this?
Do you think he did it so that would have to go through the same thing?
Or did he want to create a better life for you?

We gotta start thinking with our heads.
We can't catch up if we are constantly trying to be in last place

Music is entertainment, like anything else. You don't have to be a karate master living in the mountains to play Street Fighter, or an android sent from the future to watch Terminator. And you don't have to want to be whoever you listen to or watch to enjoy their art. A lot of why gangsta rap blew up so big is precisely BECAUSE it was completely different to what people in the suburbs were used to :yeshrug:

To go with an outside example, Paul Simon's highest selling album to date is Graceland. Why? Aside from it being a phenomenally written and performed album, it introduced his fans (and America in general) to a completely different sound through its heavy South African influence. Part of the appeal of entertainment is exposure to new things, or at the minimum things outside of one's normal routine. If you don't understand that :yeshrug:
