It always bugged me out how the nerd school Brooklyn Tech was Decept headquarters.
My older brother went to Brooklyn Tech, I still remember the night my mom flipped out because she found the banger under his pillow. It wasn't from any local beef, he was taking this to school with him every day. Just seemed like an unnecessary headache to me. My hood was full of fatigue wearing dropouts slinging crack, I didn't have to worry about that type of shyt. You were good for the most part as long as you stayed out of the way.
Plus there were enough Decepts running around Manhattan, so I already knew what it was before I ever had any desire to go to BK. Besides, 125th was always jumping, if I wanted to see some different broads I'd hit the village. I was an obnoxious Harlem kid running around with $500 of loud colors on, but I was smart enough to know that I looked like a plate to some of you nyggas.

The white overlords of NYC took all the guns away with the draconian laws in NY. That combined with crushing poverty in NYC in the 70s and 80s forced blacks and latinos to live in wastelands like this (real pic of NYC in the 80s)

One of my boys got slashed and the healing process looked fukkin disgusting. Deep stitches and puss and shyt.
He basically got cut from the middle between his eyebrows down across his nose and left cheekbone and almost around to the ear.
shyt happened in less than a second and basically disfigured him. One of the worst buck fifty i ever seen.

Its a NY thing because blades, and knives are easier to come by for protection. the buck 50 gained notoriety when the bloods, who rose up directly as a result of the LK oppression in the prisons, started to hit the streets and the slashings were targeting neutral people. When a sudden jump in random slashings came out in the news, along with the documentaries and war stories of the jail and prison system it becaome synonomys with the urban culture of the city. You see alot of older hispanic men with it, ricans dominicans, because more likely than not they were caught up in the power struggle between the LK's and the Bloods. Each side had its allies and they were in turn at war with each other. Ask any moreno who served time during the 80's, the LK's had the system under a harsh thumb. that severe control directly lead to the creation of the UBN and the battle was on. The tables have turned these days. It cost alot of scars it seems.

He got cut at 18 and were 26 now. So it's basically as small as it will get. But still it's bad and noticeable as fukk. Honestly it's the first thing anyone notice when they meet dude. Dude who just got cut the side of their face or cheek are lucky. Homie got it across his entire face.

When my hair is grown you can't see it, but I usually get hair really low and even then you have to really be paying heavy attention. Even then, nothing that would distract someone.
But how you described it is the worst. I remember telling this lady I was super cheesed about my scars, she's like scars make men manly lol. I guess she's right if it's small and not in very observant place but nothing outrageous like your homie's.

Yea i felt bad as fukk for dude after it happened. Dude would post pics with his girl with the frankenstein stitches but in private told me he hated how his face looked now.
Worst part was it happened by some cowards out of town so wasn't even no get back. Dude just stuck with this shyt on his face.
