For the same reason men do it, they’re embarrassed/angry. They put themselves out there and you’re saying they aren’t good enough/you don’t want them. Some people can just let it go while some people lash out.

I had a guy literally try to rape and kill me because I turned him down. His friends had to save me. Turned him down then got put on a group project with him for school, one second I’m reading out of the book next thing I know I’m being strangled on the floor while he’s shouting that I think I’m better than him. Life comes at you fast.

Women prefer to be chased. On the rare occasion they are choosing strongly the rejection hurts badly, especially for very beautiful women, who have dozens of men begging for their attention.

This even happens when you respond, but not quickly enough. Thats why if a girl gives you her number you have to call quickly and make it known you want to pursue something.

He got stomped out but I didn’t report it, I know I know but at the time everybody kept asking why I was alone with him after he showed interest in me and I turned him down. I honestly didn’t think it bothered him that much because he never brought it up again but I felt stupid for putting myself in that position.
