Why do feminist think they can date foreign men?

I consider myself a feminist, have traveled and partied around the world, and I personally feel like there is NOTHING, nothing like a well-adjusted, well-read, alpha American man. Perhaps OP's friend has had some poor experiences with the American men she has dated, perhaps she has heard some good experiences about women who have dated non-Americans.

there are extenuating circumstances in these types of relationships though... and because we are usually aware of cultural differences, we both just try harder.... and that effort is confused as foreigners caring more...

Answer my question though.
The descriptions in #1- #4 describe an annoying and terrible partner, regardless of gender:

1. Why would they date a person who wants to be in charge all the time
2. Why would they date people who think they too good to take over the cooking and cleaning
3. Why would they date people with smart mouths and always have to have the last word
4. Why would they date people who think they know it al

Most women in Brazil work full time jobs and there's plenty of divorces to go around
