I sort of get where OP is coming from. I can understand the hassle of being fetishsized and all that, yet at the same time, not all forms of attraction or preference for black men from other women are due to a fetish or what not. I do think some dudes go overboard with it and try to shame dudes into rejecting roundly the attention of non-black women rather than taking a more nuanced approach to it or alternatively, just not caring.

No joke, something like this happened to me while I was on a Zoom call with some associates. Had some African art masks hanging in the background and everything and my girl, who looks white, comes barging into the room while we were casually talking about people marrying out and stuff.
