Like i said previously, I can take a joke. I just don't understand 'mean' teasing that is used to gently put someone down. I don't mind if a guy who is my friend does it, but I'd prefer my significant other to uplift me rather than poke fun of me. Maybe I do take relationships too seriously. If my SO was short, I'd never use that to take a jab at him. I just wouldn't. The world is already filled with shytty ppl.. your SO is supposed to be equivalent to a shelter/refuge; a place you can go when everywhere/everyone else just brings you down. But when you take pops at each other, diss each other in a teasing way... you risk becoming competitive and hurting each others feelings.
Just my perspective.
There's a time & place for everything. It was nothing for my mom & dad to rib each other in front of me while cooking dinner and even I'd get it on it.
Laughter creates happiness. It's innocent to me.
It's human and if you can't laugh at it, you just may in fact be taking the relationship too seriously.
My gf had braces and she used to catch it over her teeth. Afterwards, she was clowning the size of my feet and we were laughing our asses off and wrapped up together throughout the entire exchange.
If those imperfections were monumental enough, we wouldn't have been together in the first place.
Every moment can't be spent reminding your SO how perfect they are. They know you love them.
Just not that serious to me but to each their own.

my heart was beating hella fast I thought it was something serious like my car was about to blow up or something.
