Every woman wants to top their friend.

It's the only chance that they'll ever have to attend that intensely posh of an event. Middle class families aren't attending the White House ball, the Oscars, or any other events like that. They don't really have an excuse or reason to. So they decide to dump their life savings into a wedding ceremony so they can get a lick of what the kind of life is like for a day/weekend.

My sister's wedding was fukking amazing, though. She got married in a castle in Ireland.
