I know nikkas in the military and they absolutely hate wearing the uniform. They only wear it at work and they change at work because they don't even want everyone knowing they military, plus they're tired of people always coming up interrupting their day saying, "thank you for your service".
Now, white boys who think they action heros? I cant speak on them.
Airport are entirely different. You skip SO many hurdles with a uniform. Front of the line on everything, can't get your seat stolen over BS, they give you preference when flights get screwed up... you don't NEED the uniform for it though. Just ID. Most of the time.Exactly....when I was in the Air Force I couldn't wait to get out that uniform everyday. To keep it real. As long as you got that uniform on you gotta be on your P's and Q's heavy. Especially if you on base. Can't be yourself. That's only them white boy rah rah 'Merica ass dudes who wear the uniform everywhere. When I was in and traveled I made sure I was comfortable as hell. I would see white dudes decked out in they uniforms...dress uniforms sometimes
. Sometimes if they got on the plane I've heard of them getting bump to 1st class or whatever but it ain't worth it to me. Of course they probably love them people coming up to trying to shake they hand and all that "thank you for service" bs.
Realest post in here
I lived on the base and hated wearing my uniform because I hated saluting officers.. Everytime you're about to cross their path hey give you thelike you better not forget to salute them.
I ain't gone front, I wore my blues everytime I had to fly somewhere.Airport are entirely different. You skip SO many hurdles with a uniform. Being military and traveling is.... well, its one of the best perks imo.
Also, some of those dress uniform guys are probably immediately leaving from a training graduation, ceremony, or something similar. If you gotta get across the country on the same day... shyt, may as well know you're getting priority in every line.

"Thank you for your service. Wait one moment while I get you a spot in first class and anything you want to drink."
But normal days, I wasn't rocking my uniform like that unless I was either on my way to or from work and I needed to pick something up before I got to my destination.
I love the ones who bring up they are in the military over random shyt, you be talking about a basketball game and the person would bring up how he once played basketball in Afghanistan against a local kid and then got shot
No simpin but she on of few females posters who got the coli on lock
