to me, the biggest disappoint during the 90s was when dennis rodman wore that wedding dress. i had no idea the dude was gay until he showed up in that dress. it made me look at life from a different angle. it was a huge eye opener.. and then 9/11 happened which made us really dull and docile..

Fam, most of these millenials don't even read and if they do, they aren't even reading the shyt that'll make them smarter or know more for that matter. A lot of them follow and believe shyt without even questioning it because it's cool to be a follower. Worst off, the social media shyt has them in their little bubble trying to be stars and celebrities. Folks really getting gassed because of likes and followers on social media. They don't know how to basically accept life or reality for what it is so they go about living escapism for real. They've been lied to as well when they were younger.
So just imagine, a lot of these millenials are delusional, ignorant, have no backbone when it comes to being individualistic, live through their smart phones, and then to top it off, they want real things to come to them but they don't want to be real with themselves to begin with.
A lot of folks are basically lying to themselves. It wouldn't surprise me if the self esteem and self confidence among millenials was extremely low living in the world today.
I have a lot of sympathy because baby boomers trashed this country to prop up their 401ks.

I believe this is a by product having the internet and devices at arms reach. Nowadays everyone is writing academic type post backed with ad hoc statistics to prove every point they make no matter how insignificant. But ask them if they ever lived through what they talking about and most of em will say no. It's not the pensions. When you offer a pension, you know how much you need to fund it to pay out when that person retires. Baby boomers wanted tax cuts on top of getting a pension. So, politicians started underfunding them and kicking the can down the road. Then, when the bill comes due, they're the same a$$holes crying poverty and either declaring bankruptcy and voiding pensions, or cutting payments.
