Why do Philadelphians hype up Cheese steaks?

Unlike that chopped cheese bullshyt people open up Philly cheesesteak places all over the country, so it’s not really about them hyping it up. I’m from Atlanta but as a teen worked at 2 cheese steak spots. It’s just a staple for them. New Yorkers just hype all they shyt up. Ain’t nobody eating that shyt outside New York
