Ya'll are crazy. You can get a brand new bedroom house BUILT for 150k here in OKC. Your mortgage would be like $950 a month. A 50k salary here is equal to 65 to 70k anywhere else. Matter of fact. I live in a luxury apt for 760. OKC is the place to be for land and property.

Most people I know who grew up here want to leave. Any time you talk to a older NYer they say "Man, I hate this place. I need to get out". Most don't but a lot do. It's not about being people thinking its cool. Most NY natives despise the transplants. Why, because they, with lack of knowledge and obsession with proximity drive up the prices. As a matter of fact, its actually the transplants that think its cool to pay the high prices,not the natives. Most natives live in the outer boroughs where its affordable. So when you shyt on people paying high rents, you are actually shytting on your own people who didnt think your shytty town was good enough.
