Why do non playoff bowl games still exist

If it wasn't young black kids putting their health and livelihoods on the line for glorified exhibitions that they still aren't getting paid for I would the business model because it is absolutely amazing. You got companies and networks paying billions of dollars and millions of people tuning in to or flying all over the country for exhibition games. At least they let the kids get shyt for playing in these games .

Yep, I had no intentions of watching the Miami Beach Bowl and The Bahamas Bowl last year, but I ended up seeing a brawl and one of the best plays in CFB history.

But yeah Bowl games have always been pointless, Bacardi Bowl, Blockbuster Bowl, Hall of Fame Bowl, Bluebonnet Bowl, Cigar Bowl, International Bowl, Salad Bowl, Seattle Bowl...I can go on and on

Money and they get free trips and gifts. And it provides the fans with matchup we would never see in the regular season. At college football only having playoffs with no other bowl games

I love the bowls. If we went to no bowls, teams wouldn't have much to play for after 2 losses. Now they can still work on having a good season and getting into a good bowl game.
